In years past, Burkemont has sent mission teams to Alaska (World Changers), South Africa (Awana), Atlanta (Youth Choir), Montana (North American Missions), Gulfport (Disaster Relief), ...

This year we have teams going to South Africa, Montana, New York City, as well as many local mission opportunities.

Burkemont is also very active in the Samaritan's Purse Ministry - sending shoeboxes to children all over the world.  We frequently take groups to Boone, NC to pack shoeboxes with Samaritan's Purse Ministry.  Also locally, we ...

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD - UPDATE:  A TOTAL OF 288 SHOEBOXES WERE DELIVERED TO SAMARITAN'S PURSE IN BOONE

OCC is a tradition at Burkemont.  We are seeking to gather 200 filled shoeboxes to be delivered around the world through Samaritan's Purse. 

ANGEL TREE - UPDATE:  There are 171 Angels on the Angel Tree, representing 57 children.  Wrapped Gifts, with the Angel securely attached, need to be received by December 13^th, and certainly no later than December 20^th.  Gifts must be sorted, counted and made ready for delivery.

LOTTIE MOON CHRISTMAS OFFERING will be received each Sunday in December.  Our goal is $19,000.  Members, as well as friends and neighbors of Burkemont, may give an offering in Honor or Memory of a loved one during this time.
