Missions lays at the heart of Burkemont.  We genuinely strive to be an Acts 1:8 church that reaches into our Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and even to the ends of the earth with the gospel of Christ.

Currently, Burkemont gives 10% of our undesignated receipts to various missions efforts that literally have an impact around the world.  Whether it is locally in places such as Burke United Christian Ministries, The Good Samaritan Clinic, & The Catawba River Baptist Association or through the Cooperative Program that supports Kingdom Work on both the State, National, and International Level, we are committed to giving back to support the cause of Christ and the Kingdom of God.

During the spring, summer and fall months, we meet every Monday evening at 5:45 p.m. to receive our assignments and make visits until about 7:00 p.m. We return at 7:00 p.m. for a time of report, prayer, and praise. During the winter months, we meet the first Sunday afternoon of the month at 3:30 p.m.
