How do I set up my bank account information in order to give once I have a username and password?
You will enter your bank account information during the process of giving. You will need to enter the routing number and account number for the bank account you wish to use for online giving. The routing number and account number are located on the bottom of your checks.
Can I give to designated funds or make payments for upcoming church activities, youth trips, etc?
Currently the only funds you can contribute to through online giving are the general operating budget and Above and Beyond (our building/debt retirement fund). In the future we will be adding funds once we have the opportunity to become more familiar with the administration of online giving.
Will my gifts through online giving be recorded to my contribution record for tax purposes?
Yes, when you set up your account, if your name is uploaded in our data base it will automatically post the contribution to your record. If you are a guest and not a member of Burkemont, a record of your gift will be sent to our financial secretary and she will issue you a year end giving statement for tax purposes.
Is it safe and secure to use online giving?
Yes, all giving transactions are given through a secure site.
Do you accept credit or debit cards?
No we currently do no accept giving using credit or debit cards. Burkemont Baptist Church only uses ACH (automated clearing house) transactions for online giving.
